Job Description:
Accounts Payable Specialist - Join Our Growing Team! Are you a
detail-oriented and organized accounting professional with
experience in accounts payable? Our growing non-profit organization
is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic
team! In this role, the Accounts Payable Specialist will play a
crucial part in supporting our accounting department. Accounts
Payable Specialist Key Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable
for the organization, including AP inbox management. Processing 200
invoices each week. Accurately code invoices to the appropriate
entity and ensure they are routed for approval. Reconcile vendor
accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved.
Collaborate with other team members to complete various accounts
payable tasks. What We Are Looking For: To be successful in the
role of Accounts Payable Specialist , you should have a strong
background in accounts payable, excellent organizational skills,
and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, driven,
and able to follow directions with precision. A solid understanding
of ERP systems and proficiency with Microsoft Excel will set you
apart. Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications: A minimum of 2
years of experience in an accounts payable role. Proficient in
Microsoft Excel Comfortable using ERP systems, particularly
Microsoft Dynamics SL. Strong attention to detail and the ability
to handle large volumes of invoices. Excellent organizational
skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to
work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Hours
& Location: Hours for the Accounts Payable Specialist role are
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with some flexibility.
Hybrid role after training Business casual dress code. Additional
Requirements: Local candidates only. Must pass a criminal
