Job Description Job Description We are looking for a skilled
Revenue Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in
Louisville, Colorado. This role is vital in ensuring the accuracy
and integrity of revenue data, with an emphasis on detailed
analysis and compliance. The ideal candidate will leverage their
expertise in financial systems and data management to support
audits, journal entries, and reconciliation tasks.
Responsibilities: • Prepare and oversee monthly revenue close
processes, including detailed account reconciliations and journal
entries. • Analyze large datasets to assess company benchmarks and
uncover actionable insights. • Evaluate financial reports and
reconciliations for discrepancies, recommending adjustments to
maintain precise and timely records. • Conduct thorough reviews of
contracts to ensure compliance with established revenue recognition
standards. • Provide support for audits by gathering documentation,
verifying accuracy, and flagging potential issues. • Deliver
standard and ad hoc financial analyses, such as customer trends and
box office performance metrics. • Collaborate with Accounts
Receivable to interpret and apply contract terms accurately within
financial systems. • Utilize advanced Excel functions along with
tools like Power BI, NetSuite, and Salesforce to streamline
reporting and analysis. • Proven expertise in revenue recognition
accounting, including familiarity with ASC 606 standards. • Strong
analytical skills for assessing revenues and identifying data
inconsistencies. • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced
formulas and data manipulation. • Experience preparing journal
entries and conducting reconciliations. • Knowledge of Power BI,
NetSuite, and Salesforce for financial data management. • Ability
to maintain high levels of data integrity and accuracy. •
Exceptional self-review and critical analysis capabilities. •
Previous experience supporting audits and ensuring compliance with
financial regulations.
