As an Armed Patrol Officer in a financial institution setting, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves interacting with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri08:00 AM - 05:30 PMSat08:00 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help control entry and exit from the location. Remain alert to unusual activity and report any suspicious behavior or incidents according to site protocols. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors. Carry and maintain assigned firearms in accordance with company and site-specific policies, following all applicable laws and regulations. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have an Armed Guard Card or License as required by state and/or local regulations. Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Must participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Must acknowledge and comply with all firearms-related requirements, including firearms care and maintenance, and successfully complete the CO 24 Hour Tactical Firearms Training Course, Firearms Annual Requalification Training, and CO Firearms Written Test. These training courses may be completed post hire. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
