Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Special Education Teacher position is available to
support 4th and 5th grade students with mild to moderate
disabilities at an elementary school in the Denver area. This
full-time, contract role offers a great opportunity to apply your
skills in an on-site classroom setting for the remainder of the
current school year. Location: Denver, CO School Type: Elementary
Duration: February 12, 2026 May 21, 2026 Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5
hours per week Student Group: 4th & 5th grade, mild/moderate
disabilities Key Responsibilities: - Provide specialized
instruction tailored to individual student needs within the mild to
moderate disability spectrum - Develop and implement individualized
education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and
families - Utilize effective classroom management and instructional
strategies appropriate for elementary-aged children - Monitor
student progress and adjust teaching methods to achieve learning
goals - Collaborate with general education teachers and support
staff to promote inclusive learning environments Qualifications: -
Active Colorado Department of Education Special Education teaching
certification - Experience teaching elementary-level students,
preferably in grades 4 and 5 - Ability to manage caseloads focused
on mild to moderate disabilities - Immediate availability to work
on-site for the duration of the contract - Strong communication and
collaboration skills for working with educators, parents, and
service providers Additional Information: - Fingerprinting will be
coordinated by the district as part of credentialing requirements -
Candidates should be available for an eligibility prescreen
