health benefits Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic
and experienced Electrical Controls and Automation Engineer to join
our team. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for
developing and maintaining electrical control systems and
components to required specifications, focusing on economy,
reliability, safety, and sustainability. You will be working on a
variety of projects, including designing, implementing,
maintaining, and improving electrical instruments and equipment for
our manufacturing operations, aiming to increase automation and
improve production efficiency. Responsibilities: 1. Design,
program, simulate, and test automated machinery and processes to
complete exact tasks. 2. Develop and implement innovative
electrical control systems for machinery, focusing on improving
efficiency and reliability. 3. Maintain and improve existing
automation systems, ensuring they meet current and future
production requirements. 4. Troubleshoot problems with automation
systems, including diagnosing and fixing faults. 5. Work closely
with other engineers, technicians, and operational staff to ensure
machinery and processes meet compliance regulations. 6. Develop and
maintain documentation for electrical control systems and
procedures, ensuring all records are up to date. 7. Use specialized
software, including FactoryTalk, for the development and
maintenance of control systems. 8. Design and oversee the
installation of conveyor systems, ensuring they meet production
requirements and safety standards. 9. Use ladder logic for PLC
programming and troubleshooting. 10. Provide technical support and
training to operational staff, ensuring they understand how to
operate machinery safely and efficiently. Qualifications: 1.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation
Engineering, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of
experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. 3.
Extensive knowledge and experience in electrical controls,
automation systems, and conveyor systems. 4. Proficient in using
FactoryTalk and ladder logic for PLC programming. 5. Strong
understanding of programming automation systems. 6. Excellent
problem-solving skills, with a focus on troubleshooting and
diagnosing faults with electrical control systems. 7. Ability to
work well in a team, with excellent communication skills. 8. Strong
attention to detail, with the ability to design and implement
complex electrical control systems. 9. Knowledge of relevant health
and safety regulations, with a focus on ensuring compliance. 10.
Ability to manage multiple projects at once, with strong
organizational and time management skills. 11. Willingness to
continue learning and staying updated with new technologies and
