Responsibilities: Design electrical systems for data centers,
aviation and commercial/industrial facilities including: Design
power systems, including layout and circuiting of receptacles,
miscellaneous equipment, mechanical equipment, and completion of
panel schedules. Power design associated with UPS and generator
support systems, mechanical systems and other equipment. Design of
electrical one-line diagrams. Conduit routing, layout and
circuiting of receptacles, and completion of panel schedules. Short
circuit and voltage drop calculations. Fuse and circuit breaker
coordination studies. Prepare studies on various electrical
systems, identify options and potential solutions. Provide related
cost comparisons. Development of specifications for the lighting
and power systems. Review of contractor’s shop drawings and
submittals. Construction observations. Demonstrates expert
application of local and national building codes and all applicable
safety codes and industry standards and International Building
Codes May engage in business travel for client meetings, field
surveys, etc. Participate in seminars and training events to stay
current with industry trends. Requirements: Your Requirements and
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from
an ABET accredited four-year college or university. Registration as
a Professional Engineer or be willing to become licensed.
Certification as an EI/EIT required. Minimum of 2 years’ experience
as a consulting engineer. Requires the ability to pass background
checks, security screenings or drug testing as required by our
clients and/or Federal contracts. Must be authorized to work in the
United States. Salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 and will be based
on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and
abilities of the applicant. Equal Employment
