Support National Defense: Contribute to projects that directly support national defense and our war fighters, ensuring they have the best technology available. Responsibilities: RF Measurements: Perform precise RF measurements using Spectrum Analyzers and Network Analyzers. Conduct tests to evaluate the performance of RF components and systems. Generate detailed reports based on measurement data. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues in RF systems down to the component level. Identify root causes of RF performance problems and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop troubleshooting strategies and methodologies. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate RF measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, and other RF instruments. Documentation: Document test procedures, results, and troubleshooting steps in a clear and concise manner. Maintain up-to-date records of equipment calibration and maintenance. Support and Collaboration: Provide technical support to engineering and development teams on RF-related issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF solutions into product designs. Support Production builds as needed. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with advancements in RF technology and measurement techniques. Contribute to the improvement of RF testing processes and methodologies. Qualifications: Required: Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in RF engineering or a related field. Proven experience with Spectrum Analyzers and Network Analyzers. Experience in troubleshooting RF systems down to the component level. ? Skills: Strong understanding of RF principles and measurements Proficiency in using RF test equipment and software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Desired: Experience with RF design and simulation software (e.g., ADS, HFSS). Familiarity with wireless communication standards (e.g., Cellular, WiFI, etc.). Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
