You will be responsible for preparing reports, attending meetings to provide financial feedback and training employees in cost management methods. You will be a member of the operational team supporting the business to identify, assess, mitigate and mange operational risks.The successful candidate should be able to think and act both strategically and tactically. This individual should possess solid business judgment, strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the strong desire to dive deep into data results and problem solving. This individual must be able own the financial reporting for multiple projects, use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analyses with little guidance and draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and have global impact. You must be able to communicate data in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner both verbally and in writing.Proposals:* Research and review of costs and risks prior to proposal submission.* Help interpret contract requirements and obligations and provides guidance to PSI team.* Support the preparation of contractual provisions and the administration of contract bids and requests for proposals ("RFPs"), Teaming Agreements and SubcontractsContract Management:* Reviews Statements of Work, Change Orders and provides guidance to managers.* Analyzes and assesses potential impacts associated with contract delivery risks.* Assists managers to resolve contractual issues.* Provides guidance to reduce project risks, adjust contract requirements to accommodate changing project circumstances, and manage stakeholder expectations to contractual obligations and agreed upon performance standards.* Helps interpret contract requirements and obligations and provides guidance to engagement teams.Primary Responsibilities:* Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure collaborative engagement and partnering to achieve the best results and protection for our customers and PSI business.* Support the business in continuous improvement and throughout the change programs across the organization.* Recommend and direct changes in operating procedures to improve efficiencies in payment and procurement processes.* Coordinate with management to ensure cost forecasting reports are consistently checked and applied.* Monitor and document actual and estimate reports* Stay up to date on project budgets and project spending* Work closely with pricing research for potential government contracts.* Provide go/no go decision support through experimentation, statistical modeling and/or trend analysis.* Develop metrics reporting and audit mechanisms to measure the accuracy of newly launched projects.* Build and maintain in depth knowledge across key business areas by staying current on initiatives, challenges/opportunities across the business* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer focused professional demeanor* Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload* A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectationsQualificationsRequired:* 8+ years of financial management experience including direct contract experience * Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Management or Engineering; master's degree is desirable* Location: Rapid City, SD (Please note this is not a remote based position)Preferred:* Experience in advising business teams on developing agreements and contracts in the ERI industry space* Ability to evaluate risks associated with large professional service contracts* Experience advising teams on financial risk matters* Experience in RFP analysis, including contract terms and conditions* Experience and ability to work directly with senior level individuals (internally and externally)* Strong oral and written communication skills* Ability to handle fast paced, multi-task environment* Ability to work autonomously* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Competencies Required:In addition to putting our customers first, acting like an owner, and succeeding as a team, the competencies for this role include:* Analytical and problem-solving skills* Focus on delivery of value to the business* Customer focused* Deep understanding of operational risk technologies* Proactive, great time management and planning sills with the ability to perform well under pressure* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Able to build relationships across the departments and personality typesProject Solutions, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, women, individuals with disabilities, protected veterans and minorities are encouraged to apply.
