Program Manager Customer Insights and Behavioral Science Ready to make a difference? ICF is looking for a Program Manager , Customer Insights and Behavioral Science ?to lead the development, improvement, and implementation of behavioral initiatives within the Energy Environment and Infrastructure (EEI) Group (a $400M+ business). The EEI Group is a diverse operating group that partners with utilities, federal agencies, state and local governments, and commercial clients to help tackle their most pressing challenges, including climate adaptation and resiliency, electric vehicle readiness, environmental and regulatory compliance,?and energy efficiency.? Key to addressing these challenges is an understanding of consumer behavior, attitudes, decision making and influences.? The Program Manager, Customer Insights and Behavioral Science will manage, lead, and contribute to research teams to apply behavioral economics and social psychology insights in the design, development, and implementation of a range of energy programs and research studies. Other responsibilities will include the design management, and implementation of customer research studies using qualitative and quantitative methods, the development of experimental designs, oversight of and sometimes performance of data analytics, market research, and other efforts to improve program performance. These efforts are focused on generating new insights that have significant impact on issues such as decarbonization, energy efficiency, beneficial electrification, and environmental justice. This position reports directly to the Director of Customer Insights and Behavioral Science and can be located remotely or in one of ICF's 58 North American offices. The selected candidate will have a proven background in behavioral economics and/or social psychology, preferably with experience in quantitative and qualitative research, conjoint analysis, and experimental design. Ideally, this will include experience with energy-using technologies and/or work with energy utilities. What you will be doing:+ Oversee the conceptualization, design, and delivery of client projects to apply behavioral economics and social science to their challenges+ Oversee the development of intellectual property and market presence for relevant behavioral science service offerings, including maintaining a highly visible presence at conferences and events+ Be responsible for business development (in coordination with regional and corporate leadership and other EEI staff)+ Develop deep client relationships and discover additional opportunities with new and existing clients+ Be expected to travel as needed to support client engagements (up to 25%). Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final salary for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
