Stoneridge is looking for a versatile Senior Project Manager who has a proven track record of success leading complex projects in the Microsoft space (Dynamics 365 ERP/CRM, Azure, and/or Office 365). The Senior Project Manager (PM) will lead the successful delivery of Dynamics 365 implementations, as well as other Microsoft Technology projects to ensure that the scope, resources, and budget constraints are balanced to the needs of our client. The Senior PM is responsible for creating the project management plan and ensuring that the team is executing against the plan in order to complete the project successfully by achieving the project goals within the established scope, schedule, budget, and quality, with a high degree of client satisfaction.
This position is available on a REMOTE basis in the United States or REMOTE in Canada (Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan).
A Day in the Life



  • Lead and manage successful delivery of Dynamics 365 ERP, CRM and/or other Microsoft technology projects


  • Project planning and execution, issue and risk management, stakeholder management, and developing and delivering effective communication


  • Provide excellent service and build ongoing relationships with clients, always showing up with the highest degree of integrity


  • Provide guidance and support to your project teams, while mentoring up team members


  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support our client's business goals while cultivating a trusting relationship with each client


  • Understand client's resource capabilities and constraints, and adjust the project plan accordingly


  • Develop and successfully deliver large scale project activities including but not limited to; scheduling, resourcing (including forecasting), project budget management, risk planning and mitigation, backlog/scope management, and proposal development


  • Manage team activities and project dependencies to ensure on time project deliverables


  • Organize and drive steering committee meetings, project planning meetings, and recurring team meetings


  • Lead and ensure the delivery team is practicing the Stoneridge Software implementation methodology including continuous improvement activities and change management


  • Manage issues and escalations on projects, always demonstrating empathy and strong interpersonal skills


  • Plan and schedule consultants' work and negotiate resolution of resourcing conflicts


  • Work collaboratively with project teams and clients, including traveling to their locations when required


  • Set aside time for self-development by attending training or self-learning on key subjects, always striving to be your best self


  • Contribute to organizational growth and improvement through collaborative process refinement initiatives with other Project Managers and other disciplines within the organization


    Preferred Qualifications


    • Proven experience leading successful full lifecycle Dynamics ERP and/or CRM Implementations (D365 F&SCM) AND (strongly preferred)/OR proven experience leading infrastructure engagements (Azure Cloud Migrations, Office 365 implementations, etc)


    • Great leadership, communication, teamwork skills with proven ability to collaborate in group problem-solving situations


    • 5+ years of direct work experience in a project management capacity including all aspects of process development and project lifecycle execution


    • Organized, detail-oriented, and follows through on commitments


    • Direct experience and ability to develop detailed project plans, scope documents/backlogs, project schedules with dependencies, and resource forecasts and plans


    • The ability to successfully manage budgets and timelines, proactively identifying issues with the ability to effectively communicate solutions to budget and timeline issues with clients


    • Experience mentoring fellow teammates and/or project management peers


    • General understanding of project management principles and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) with PMP, CSM, or CAPM designation preferred


    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science or related field


    • Strong ability to quickly grasp complex and/or technical items and break them down into workable segments


    • Solid interpersonal skills, and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and outside Stoneridge


    • Ability to work primarily independently and concurrently manage multiple projects


    • Ability to work collaboratively for the best interests of the business and the team


    • Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English


      Travel Required: Incumbent is expected to periodically meet with client teams across the United States and will be asked to attend industry events from time to time.
