Job Summary: Bulk Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market
Oversee the maintenance, packing, and stocking of bulk foods, ensuring high-quality customer service and a clean, organized store environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Follow merchandising plans, packaging, and scaling bulk items, filling bulk bins, and preparing, wrapping, and pricing bulk packages accurately and legibly.
  
• Order and maintain inventory, rotate product using code dates, and follow the company's cleaning and sanitation program.
  
• Ensure department compliance with company and governmental safety, health, Weights & Measures, and COOL compliance regulations.
  
• Communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members.
  
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure bulk items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented.
  
• Receive, unload, and stock merchandise as needed throughout the day.
  
• Engage and evaluate team members through coaching, feedback, and one-on-one development discussions.
  
• Recruit, hire, and make promotion/transfer decisions in collaboration with the Store Manager.
  
• Exercise independent judgment to address team member concerns and take corrective actions when needed.
  
• Ensure maximum productivity and efficiency by creating and adjusting schedules and staffing levels.
  
• Communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members.
  
• Lead a team that collaborates to deliver the finest quality of product, highest level of service, and greatest experience for customers.
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
    
  • Have 1-2 years of experience in a retail grocery environment and 1 year of managerial leadership experience.
    
  • Be dependable and reliable, with the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
    
  • Have a working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
    
  • Be able to move vertically/horizontally, transferring product weighing up to 50 lbs., for a distance up to 4 feet for up to 15 hours without mechanical assistance.
    
  • Be able to perform other related duties as assigned.
