**Job Summary:** Seeking an Assistant Vitamin Manager to lead a team in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service and promoting healthy choices.

**Responsibilities:**

--- Assist in managing and merchandising the vitamin and health and beauty department for maximum productivity and profit
--- Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the vitamin and health and beauty team
--- Effectively coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork
--- Lead a team that brainstorms to deliver the finest quality of product, highest level of service, and the greatest experience for customers
--- Ensure customers receive the best possible service and assistance with vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products
--- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and other health and body items in the department
--- Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the vitamin team
--- Unload and sort through store deliveries
--- Ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations

**Qualifications:**

--- Be at least 18 years of age and have a minimum of 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties
--- Be dependable and reliable, with the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes, including night, weekends, and holidays
--- Have an outgoing and friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact with customers
--- Have good communication skills and the ability to give and take direction while maintaining a team environment
--- Perform general housekeeping in the department, including cleaning and dusting
--- Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
--- Be willing to gain education on new products and alternative health
--- Have strong organization and prioritization skills
--- Be able to perform physical demands, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
