Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pharmacy Resident
with us: -
- You will be -responsible exercising discretion and independent
judgment in the safe, effective, and cost-effective use of drugs
through the application of specialized knowledge and skills gained
during pharmacy school. -
- You will interpret and process physician orders, monitor drug
interactions, allergies, and drug incompatibilities, and perform
the final check of medications provided for patient use. -
- You will formulate a system for staying current with pertinent
pharmacy, medical, and scientific literature and provide drug
information and clinical services to all health professionals and
patients. -
Qualifications you will need for this role: - -
- -Residents must be licensed by the State of Colorado as a
Pharmacist within 3 months of hire. ACLS and BLS within 3 months of
hire. -
- -Pharm. D. or BS with equivalent experience required -
- Previous hospital experience preferred. -
- Must be able to type and have effective oral and written
communication and computer skills. Demonstrated skills commensurate
