Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Leprino Building AMC,
US:CO:Aurora Department: Transplant Hepatology Admin FTE: Full
Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Day and
Night Rotation Pay: $38.91 - $60.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on
applicant's relevant experience Summary: Coordinates deceased donor
organ offers. Triages after-hours patient calls. Facilitates
acceptance or refusal of donor organs. Coordinates organ recovery.
Responsibilities: Coordinates organ availability for transplant
recipients. Collects data for organ acceptance or refusal.
Communicates with transplant surgeons and physicians,
histocompatibility lab, and staff. Reviews candidate medical record
prior to organ allocation; assesses for concerns, abnormal
diagnostic findings or significant changes. Collaborates with
transplant surgeons regarding recipient selection for each
available organ. Triages transplant recipient and living donor
after-hours calls. Works with other facilities to coordinate care.
Coordinates patient admissions to hospital and surgery
notifications. Provides program support for wait list removals, and
donor culture reporting and follow-up. Within scope of job,
requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the
ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a
fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements:
Minimum Required Education: BSN. Required Licensure/Certification:
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Minimum Experience: 3
