Job Title: CT Scan Technologist Profession: Tech Specialty: Computed Tomography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 12 3x12 Hr Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: ARRT Must-Have: - Demonstrates reliability and effective communication skills. - Utilizes problem-solving skills, independent judgment and decision-making skills. - Provides input to department planning process improvement. - Participates in departmental and modality meetings. - Assists in orientation and training of new associates and students. Description: Performs general CT scans of the chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, fluoroscopy, and pediatric exams. Completes post-processing in a timely manner. Performs CT angiograms with post-processing. Handles scans of trauma patients efficiently and promptly. Demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to patients, self, and auxiliary staff. Maintains high quality and image production in scanning. Demonstrates leadership related to coordination of providing radiology care across all settings.
