Doctor of Medicine | Cardiology - General/Other Location: Scottsbluff, NE Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Physician – Cardiology (Perm – Full-Time) Location: Scottsbluff, NE (2 West 42nd Street, Scottsbluff, NE 69361) Overview: Join a well-established and progressive cardiology program serving Western Nebraska, committed to delivering exceptional cardiovascular care. Our collaborative and innovative team emphasizes excellence, integrity, and patient-centered outcomes. We are seeking a dedicated, fellowship-trained cardiologist—either invasive or non-invasive—who is board certified in internal medicine and either board eligible or certified in cardiovascular disease. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive cardiology services, including outpatient clinics, inpatient care, and participation in complex cardiac procedures. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team comprised of two primary cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, and other specialists to deliver integrated patient care. Engage in patient management that emphasizes evidence-based practices, utilizing the latest technologies and procedural advancements. Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and participate in clinical trials to ensure access to cutting-edge therapies for patients. Maintain active participation in call rotation and support on-call coverage, leveraging a large team to ensure high-quality, continuous care. Represent the program at regional and national cardiovascular forums, fostering clinical excellence and professional growth. Qualifications: Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Board Eligible or Certified in Cardiology (Cardiovascular Disease). Fellowship training in non-invasive or invasive cardiology. Ability to obtain a medical license in Nebraska. Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
