TimePermanent PositionEssential Functions: - Examines adult
patients to ensure proper injury care and disease prevention,
diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. - Conducts and supervises
direct patient care in the clinic setting, and plans and executes
disease prevention and health promotion programs. - Prescribes or
administers medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care
to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury. - Requests
necessary tests and follow-up visits, and refers patients to
specialists, as necessary. - Monitor patients' conditions and
progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary. - Relies on
experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. - Advise
patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene,
