UCHealth, a leading Colorado-based nonprofit health care system, is seeking dedicated and skilled Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) with expertise in critical care to join our float pool team and work across various hospitals. This position is ideal for Travel RNs who are adaptive and thrive in diverse, fast-paced hospital environments. As a part of the critical care float pool, you will provide top-tier nursing care, ensuring UCHealth's commitment to patient-centered services in multiple settings. Provide comprehensive nursing care to critical care patients. Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. Observe and interpret patient vital signs and assist with procedures such as intubation, ventilator support, and central line insertions. Administer medications and document therapeutic effects. Take precautionary measures for infection control. Prepare patients and their families for future self-management and decision-making. Report to clinical coordinator or practice administrator with direct and indirect patient care. Proficient in the use of critical care medical equipment (e.g., ventilators, infusion pumps, monitors). Advanced clinical judgment and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado or compact state. BLS certification is required. ACLS certification preferred.
