Job Description:
UCHealth, a distinguished leader in healthcare based in
Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN)
to join our Neuro Trauma Intensive Care Unit (NTICU) team during
the night shift. This fellowship position is designed for nurses
who wish to specialize in neurology and trauma care, offering
extensive training and development opportunities within our
high-acuity units. As a key member of our team, you will provide
critical care to patients with complex neuro and traumatic
conditions, using the latest medical technologies and following the
highest standards of healthcare practice. Provide high-quality
nursing care for patients with neurological and traumatic injuries.
Monitor patient conditions continuously and react to changing needs
urgently and efficiently. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
to develop and implement care plans. Utilize advanced medical
equipment and procedures specific to neurological and trauma care.
Participate in educational workshops and training to ensure
continuous professional development. Guide and support patients'
families, offering compassionate communication and education about
patient status and care plans. Profound knowledge of neurological
and trauma care practices. Ability to operate advanced medical
equipment. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capability to
perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Medical

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
