Job Description:

as a Registered Nurse in Acute Care Internal Medicine. This
position plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to
patients with complex internal medical conditions in an acute care

serve. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established
policies, procedures, and protocols of UCHealth. Monitor patient
condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care
and advice. Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and
communicate them to physicians. Collaborate with physicians and
nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients. Perform
routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering
injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts. Adjust and
administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to
physician’s orders. Inspect the facilities and act to maintain
excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing
surfaces, preparing beds etc.). Provide instant medical care in
emergencies. Support patient’s family members in coping with the
challenges associated with the patient’s condition. Strong ability
to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other
medical professionals. High level of proficiency in managing
multiple complex patient needs simultaneously. Ability to respond
to emergency situations calmly and effectively. Excellent
organizational and time management skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado or multi-state
privilege. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American
Heart Association. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred.
