Job Description:
UCHealth invites compassionate and dedicated nursing
professionals to join our Acute Care for Elders (ACE) unit as a
Registered Nurse (RN). Located in the heart of our vibrant Colorado
health campuses, our ACE unit is specially designed to meet the
medical and rehabilitative needs of older adults. In this role, you
will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team dedicated
to creating positive patient outcomes and fostering a supportive
environment. Utilizing the latest in medical technology and
evidence-based practices, you will be integral in helping our
senior patients navigate their unique health challenges. Assess,
plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for elderly
patients in an acute care setting. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
Educate patients and their families on disease management,
prevention, and lifestyle choices. Document patient care services
by charting in patient and department records. Ensure the optimal
comfort and dignity of each patient, adjusting care plans as
necessary. Strong clinical skills in an acute care setting Ability
to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using
healthcare software and systems Empathetic and culturally sensitive

Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of Colorado
BLS/CPR certification Preferred: Gerontological Nursing
Certification (RN-BC)
