UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Acute Care Bone Marrow Transplant. This position requires providing top-tier patient care in diverse settings across our facilities. Candidates will work closely with a team of experts in the field of hematology/oncology, utilizing the latest medical therapies and technologies to treat and aid patients undergoing bone marrow transplants. Your role will directly impact patients' recovery, overseeing the comprehensive treatment during critical phases of their transplant journey. Administer prescribed medications, monitor vital signs, and adjust specialized equipment as necessary. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and evaluate customized care plans. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and possible side effects. Provide emotional support and compassionate care during patients' critical treatment phases. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Ensure the successful execution of treatment plans by adhering to national and hospital standards.
