Provide skilled nursing care to surgical patients in an acute care setting. Monitor patient health and post-operative recovery, adjusting care plans as necessary. Administer medications and maintain detailed documentation of patient records. Collaborate with surgeons, surgical staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and health maintenance. Manage multiple case loads efficiently, ensuring patient care standards are met across various settings. Strong clinical skills in a surgical environment Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities Proficient in using electronic health record systems Ability to adapt to different surgical settings and requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado or ability to obtain BLS/CPR certification required upon hire ACLS certification preferred Certification in Surgical Nursing (CNS) a plus
