Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered
Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Float
Pool in Denver, working night shifts. As a part of a
Colorado-based, nonprofit healthcare system, UCHealth is committed
to delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive and
innovative environment. This position requires a skilled RN who can
adapt to different NICU settings within our various hospitals,
ensuring the highest standards of care for newborns and their
families in a dynamic and challenging environment. Provide direct
nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment in accordance with
established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare
organization. Float between different NICU units within the Denver
area to maintain seamless patient care and support. Assess, plan,
implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for newborn patients in
the NICU. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare
teams to administer treatments and monitor the health status of
infants. Educate and support patients’ families regarding neonatal
care, treatment plans, and home care needs. Maintain detailed and
accurate patient records and report any changes in patient
conditions to the corresponding healthcare specialists. Strong
clinical skills with a focus in neonatal care. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt and
respond to diverse and challenging healthcare settings.
Comprehensive knowledge of nursing procedures and medication
administration specific to neonatal care. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Required: Current RN
license in the state of Colorado. Required: BLS/CPR certification.
Preferred: Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing
(RNC-NIC).
