This position requires caring for both mothers and their newborns during the critical post-delivery period, primarily during night shifts. As a Travel RN, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple locations, gaining diverse experiences that foster professional growth and development in maternal and newborn health care. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to mothers and their newborns based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of postpartum care. Interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess the patient's condition. Counsel, educate, and support mothers and families on newborn care, postpartum recovery, and maternal health. Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Strong knowledge of postpartum and neonatal care standards and procedures Excellent patient care and clinical skills Highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and manage care with minimal supervision Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado BLS/CPR certification Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
