Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare organization in
Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to
join our inpatient acute care team. This role offers a rewarding
opportunity to work alongside top professionals in a
patient-centered environment, addressing diverse speech, language,
voice, and swallowing disorders across a multidisciplinary team.
You'll leverage advanced therapeutic techniques and
state-of-the-art tools to enhance patient outcomes in an acute
healthcare setting. Assess and treat speech, language, voice, and
swallowing disorders in a diverse patient population. Plan and
execute individualized treatment plans in collaboration with
healthcare professionals. Document patient progress and adjust
treatment plans as needed. Educate patients and their families on
communication strategies and coping mechanisms. Participate in
multidisciplinary meetings and provide input on patient care and
treatment goals. Maintain compliance with federal and state
regulations concerning health care and speech pathology. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Expertise in various
diagnostic tools and treatments for communication disorders.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Ability to
work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Medical Insurance

Speech-Language Pathology License. Certificate of Clinical
Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
