Job Description:
UCHealth, a renowned leader in patient-centered healthcare, is
seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel RN for our Surgical Trauma
Intensive Care Unit (STICU). As part of our dynamic team, you will
have the opportunity to enhance patient outcomes while traveling
across various UCHealth facilities in Colorado. This role demands
clinical excellence and a commitment to superior patient care in
high-stress environments. Provide direct and individualized nursing
care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing
principles. Monitor patient health and progress while preparing and
administering medications as prescribed by the physician.
Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective
patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Effectively communicate patient condition and treatment plans with
patients, family, and other team members. Maintain a safe,
comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families
in accordance with hospital standards. Proven ability to function
in a high-pressure environment Strong clinical skills with a focus
on surgical trauma care Adept at using medical software and
electronic health records Excellent teamwork and communication
skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred
