Medical Technologist Location: Westminster, CO Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,287 to $1,487 per week Shift Information: Evenings - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states. Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field as required by individual clients. Valid ASCP or AMT certification required. Acceptable credentials: Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) via AMT, Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) via ASCP, Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) via AMT, Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) via ASCP. In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state. 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech. Recent blood bank experience required. Experience working as a generalist covering core lab areas including blood bank; microbiology not required. Experience with Epic laboratory information system. Familiarity with departmental analyzers and equipment: EXL Dimension (chemistry), Sysmex XN (hematology), ECHO (blood bank), Clinitek (UA), Sysmex CS 2500 (coagulation). Ability to work assigned shifts and cover varied afternoon/evening schedules. Every other weekend required. Holidays required. Orientation required. Clinician must be available in-state for week of orientation. Preferred: prior experience in a hospital laboratory setting and recent blood bank competency. Preferred items are not required but will be considered. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Shift Name: Evenings. Shift Details: Evenings 1300-2100. Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule. Occasional 10-hour shifts may be required; varied afternoon/evening options include 1300-2130, 1430-2330, 1600-0030. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. Holiday Requirement: Holidays required. Orientation Hours: 12 hours of orientation; department-specific orientation required. Charting System: EPIC. Generalist coverage: Work in all core lab areas including blood bank; no microbiology coverage. Phlebotomy: Not required. Float Requirement: Candidate may be required to float within the client’s facilities or departments as operational needs dictate. Radius Requirement: Driver’s license must be submitted; candidate must be within a 60 mile radius as specified by client requirements.
