Advanced Practice Provider-Days-Full Time and Part time Salary
Range: $ 113,506 to 141,887/yr based on full-time work and based on
relevant years of experience. Location: Larimer county, Colorado
Status: Full Time The salary range for this position is
SummitStone’s good faith belief and reasonable estimate of the

services to the community that it serves. Role Overview: An Acute
Care Medical Provider is needed for day shift to help us in our
endeavor to build the healthiest community in the nation … one
person at a time. This position will be based at the new and
innovative acute care behavioral health facility, which opened in
late 2023. SummitStone has the privilege of partnering closely with
Larimer County on this venture. We provide comprehensive and
collaborative care to individuals in crisis with mental health
and/or substance use disorders. The advanced practice provider (PA
or NP) will provide professional services in the evaluation and
treatment of clients at our acute care facility. The primary focus
will be rounding on clients admitted to our crisis and/or detox
units. Major responsibilities of this position include: function as
the medical team representative to a multidisciplinary treatment
team designed to offer comprehensive behavioral health services;
evaluate patients for substance use, mental health, and medical
disorders, and determine the appropriate course of treatment for
the patients; ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team
setting; meet/maintain documentation standards; and comply with
county, state and federal laws, rules and regulations pertaining to
health care. This position requires knowledge of diversity and
inclusion with the relevant ability to engage, communicate,
interact, and work effectively and cooperatively with people of
different backgrounds, identities, and culturally diverse
communities. Minimum Qualifications: Advanced Practice Nursing
degree (APN) degree or Physician Assistant (PA) from an accredited
university. Demonstrated commitment and experience working with
persons from marginalized communities and other patient populations
experiencing vulnerabilities. Understanding and commitment to
Medications for Addiction Treatment and harm reduction principles.
Preferred Qualifications: Spanish language skills. Other language
skills also beneficial. At least 2 years' experience
treating/servicing persons with substance use and mental health
needs. Strong understanding of substance use treatment and
knowledge of withdrawal management processes. Some positions
include driving a company vehicle and require a valid Colorado
