The Vice President of Food and Beverage is responsible for
overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of all
food and beverage services at Winter Park Resort. This includes
ensuring exceptional guest experiences, developing and implementing
operational policies, managing budgets, and driving innovation in
service and menu offerings. The VP of Food and Beverage will work
as a strategic partner with the resort's senior leadership team to
meet financial goals, maintain high standards of service, and
uphold Winter Park values. The role also involves managing
cross-functional collaborations with key departments such as
marketing, Sales, human resources, and operations. Responsible for
the management of up to 7 direct reports and 300 indirect reports.

represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resort's salary
range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or
below the range based on various factors including but not limited
to experience, education, training, location, merit system,
quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular
and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of
Winter Park Resort's total compensation package for employees.
Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits. Salary
range: $133,000 to $188,000 annually ESSENTIAL DUTIES: General
Responsibilities Serve as a strategic partner and key advisor to
senior leadership on food and beverage initiatives and financial
strategy. Accountable for brand standards, service initiatives,
guest experience, guest feedback trends and actions to address
issues, talent development and retention Lead and oversee the
development and execution of the food and beverage strategy across
all resort locations. Maximize employee performance and positive
morale by serving as an ambassador of Alterra Core Values Manage
all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars,
conferences, catering, and events, ensuring exceptional service
quality and guest satisfaction. Develop and manage departmental
budgets, forecasts, and financial goals, ensuring profitability
while adhering to company-wide financial strategies. Collaborate
with marketing, mountain operations, human resources, and other
departments to align goals and ensure the seamless integration of
food and beverage services with resort-wide initiatives and
generate higher performance. Stay current on industry trends, food
innovations, sustainability practices, and regulatory changes to
integrate into offerings and ensure operational excellence.
Critically analyze all guests and employee experience metrics.
Drive employee development through training programs, performance
management, and fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food
safety standards. Implement strategies to enhance operational
efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve service delivery while
maintaining high-quality standards. Represent the food and beverage
department in meetings with senior leadership and other key
stakeholders, presenting updates on department performance and
strategic goals. Other duties as assigned This job description is

position may change. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 10 years
of progressive experience in food and beverage leadership, with at
least 5 years in an executive or senior management role. Proven
track record of successfully managing large-scale operations,
including financial oversight and cross-department collaboration.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple locations
with different goals. Strong leadership skills with experience in
managing diverse teams and building collaborative relationships
across functions. Extensive knowledge of food and beverage trends,
best practices, and regulatory compliance. Exceptional
communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Strong business acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost
control, revenue generation, and driving financial performance.
Ability to make decisions and adjust to changing situations and
priorities. Ability to provide an industry leading, positive
working environment. Passion for providing exceptional guest
service, creating memorable dining experiences, and driving
innovation in food offerings. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's
degree in hospitality management, Culinary Arts, Business
Administration, or a related field preferred. PHYSICAL
