Job Description Job Description Position: Locum Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Location: Denver, Colorado Setting: Level II & III NICU, Newborn Nursery (NBN), Delivery Unit Schedule & Coverage Options Option 1 – 24-Hour NICU In-House Shift Provide full 24-hour coverage in Level II and III NICU Manage high-acuity neonates and provide backup support as needed Option 2 – 12-Hour Delivery / NBN Shift 7 AM – 7 PM Attend all high-risk deliveries Round well-newborns Assist in Level III NICU as needed Provide 2–4 hours afternoon downtime coverage to 24-hour NNP in Level III NICU Key Responsibilities Care for critically ill neonates in Level II & III NICU Stabilize, resuscitate, and manage high-risk newborns Perform NICU procedures and collaborate with attending neonatologists Provide clinical coverage and backup for other NNPs as needed Document all care accurately in EMR Required Qualifications Board Certified Neonatal NNP (Board Eligible not accepted) – REQUIRED Active Colorado License or Compact License eligible – REQUIRED Minimum 6 months recent clinical experience in neonatal specialty – REQUIRED Must have been clinically active within the last year – REQUIRED Current APRN national specialty certification – REQUIRED Minimum of a Master’s degree – REQUIRED CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained – REQUIRED Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
