This is a unique opportunity to join a small business delivering core capabilities for National defense. You will work within a fast-paced team designing, developing, and delivering software to produce operational Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and Technical Intelligence messages using Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR). Our ideal candidate will have direct experience in Missile Warning and OPIR message types, formats, and protocals, be an experienced C++ developer, work well as part of a rapid pace, collaborative, small-team environment and be able to engineer, prototype, develop, integrate, and test advanced software solutions into Government frameworks.ResponsibilitiesWorks collaboratively on a multi-disciplinary Agile team developing messaging and communications subsystem software for OPIR Missile Warning. May own large tasks.Demonstrate fluent, idiomatic mastery of C++; comfortable with software design and architecture.Design and implement software using test driven design principles.Utilize domain experience to provide team mentorship to junior engineers.Regularly communicate with team leadership through the Agile process.
