Responsible for operating IBM mainframe and Data Processing equipment (tape drives, printers, PCs, mail machines, etc.)Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee the running of computer systems, ensuring that the processes are running properly.Operate computer and related devices.Keep log of all work performed and errors encountered.Complete computer operation tasks during the assigned shift.Upload and download data and reports for clients.Operate all data processing equipment and ensure accuracy of output.Maintains the physical inventory of computer operations supplies and keeps areas stocked with the supplies necessary for daily production.Provide assistance to other departments.Cover Mail Room as needed.Maintains a current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, as well as knowledge and consistent compliance with other banking regulations and Bank policies and procedures related to the position.Other duties may be assigned.Education and/or Experience0 - 5 years of experience as a mainframe computer operator.Capable of completing all work with minimal errors.Uses errors found or made as a coaching opportunity for others.Active listening through asking questions, maintains eye contact during 1:1 conversations, seeks mutual understanding.Demonstrates desire and ability to work toward achieving goals established for them.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
