Job Description:

Global Medical Response (GMR), a leader in emergency medical services, is seeking a skilled Labor and Employment Attorney with specialized knowledge in wage and hour laws. This pivotal role will support GMR’s commitment to compliance and ethical management of employment practices, ensuring all compensation policies adhere to federal and state regulations. The successful candidate will provide legal analysis, guidance on wage and hour issues, and proactive strategies to mitigate risks and foster a compliant and supportive work environment. Advise on legal matters concerning wage and hour compliance and labor regulations. Draft, review, and update employment policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current laws. Represent GMR in labor disputes and wage claims before federal, state, and administrative bodies. Conduct internal audits of company policies and practices to ensure they meet legal standards. Educate management and HR staff on legal risks and compliance requirements related to wage and hour laws. Strong expertise in federal and state employment laws specifically focusing on wage and hour regulations. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in legal research and employment law litigation. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Admission to practice law in the relevant state. Preferably holding certifications in Employment and Labor Law.
