Clean Harbors, the leading North American provider of environmental, energy, and industrial services, is seeking a dedicated Owner Operator OTR to join our Transportation sector. As part of our commitment to safety and sustainability, the successful candidate will be responsible for hauling hazardous waste across long distances with the utmost adherence to safety and environmental regulations. This role demands a high level of responsibility and offers the opportunity to significantly contribute to environmental protection by safely managing the transport of potentially hazardous materials. Safely transport hazardous wastes across various destinations in North America while adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain log books, vehicle tracking and monitoring systems, and other paperwork accurate and up-to-date. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle and all equipment are clean, safe, and fully operational. Report any issues or concerns that may impact safe operations or environmental compliance immediately. Manage schedules and routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery and pick-ups. Stay informed of and comply with the latest safety and environmental policies. Strong driving skills and ability to manage extended trips Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat) Ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting Excellent time management and navigational skills Effective communication abilities Medical Insurance Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement Clean driving record DOT medical card
