This is an M.D./D.O. Psychiatrist position.

The city of Evanston is a small and friendly Rocky Mountain
community that is a 45-minute drive from the world-famous ski

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only
and are not intended to describe every function which may be
performed in the job level.
Perform admission and diagnostic evaluations on patients sent to
the Wyoming State Hospital.
Provide ongoing assessments and treatment to patients admitted
to the Wyoming State Hospital.
Lead a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of a
designated number of patients at the Wyoming State Hospital.
Perform on-call clinical coverage at the Wyoming State Hospital
as needed and directed by the hospital medical director.
Participate in committees and perform administrative duties as
directed by the medical director.
Maintain all appropriate paperwork required for patient care at
the Wyoming State Hospital in a timely manner.
Assist in follow up planning for the discharge of patients from
the Wyoming State Hospital.
Maintain an active role in updating treatment plans on Wyoming
State Hospital patients.
Perform appropriate collateral medical duties as assigned by the

**Board certified (or eligible) in Psychiatry
**Eligible for licensure to practice medicine in Wyoming.
Knowledge of psychopharmacology, medication side effects, risks,
Knowledge of diagnostic criteria for psychiatric illness.
Knowledge of how co-morbid conditions (medical and neurological
conditions, substance use, intellectual limitations) can affect
psychiatric diagnosis and treatment.
Knowledge of the guidelines, rules, and regulations regarding
Knowledge of current legal liabilities, federal, state rules and
regulations, and standard governing psychiatric care of the

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position takes place in an average work environment
A background check, including fingerprinting, will be completed
through the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, the Wyoming
Department of Family Services and the F.B.I. for every successful

safety-sensitive positions. Drug testing will be completed on any
