Old National Bank is seeking a Creative Development Director in Evansville, IN. As creative director and chief brand storyteller for Old National Bank, the Creative Development Direcotr manages all executions of the brand internally and externally and serves as the passionate steward, advocate and gatekeeper for the brand . In partnership with other marketing leaders, s/he will lead the team responsible for the development of all creative touchpoints. This manager-doer will bring fresh and exciting ideas, energy and innovation to all aspects of telling the Old National story.

Key Accountabilities

Lead and Manage All Creative Touchpoints of the Brand

Provide creative direction for print, digital, video, visual and written elements of the brand

Partner with executive and marketing leaders to define, refine and execute the brand vision

Communicate with clarity and passion recommendations for telling the brand story

Serve as owner and guardian of brand standards; maintain and evolve brand/design guidelines across all channels

Serve as Creative Manager and Executor

Utilize broad creative knowledge to concept creative elements

Execute and manage creative projects including design and layout, writing, editing, etc.

Provide guidance to creative team to ensure work is executed per creative brief and in accordance with all brand and creative standards

Review and approval of all creative elements prior to presentation to leadership

Coordinate creative calendar, service standards, workflow, etc.

Manage relationships with outside creative partners including printers, agencies, video producers, etc.

Oversee and deliver the in-branch brand experience in partnership with the facilities team and outside vendors

Creative Partner to Line of Business Leaders

Meet regularly with leaders to fully understand organizational and business goals

Generate innovative ideas to promote brand, products and services

Develop and manage to approved creative briefs to ensure creative execution aligns with project goals

Utilize knowledge and research of financial services marketing to provide effective creative solutions

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Deep knowledge and interest in digital marketing and media, social media, content & technology as well as traditional marketing channels

MFA or BA in Graphic Design, Writing or related field of study

Minimum of 10 years as a creative director or brand manager

Hands-on experience in a broad range of creative channels – print, video, digital, web design, etc.

Advanced experience leading and developing a collaborative creative team

Confident as a critical, careful reviewer and editor; ability to provide clear, direct feedback to collaborators

Strong marketing skills and experience, preferably in financial services

Strong abilities in: Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Office 365, PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Video Production and Editing experience

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment which demands quick thinking and strong attention to detail

Exceptional communication skills—proactive, organized, clear, persuasive and action-oriented; ability to quickly convey ideas to senior leaders and direct reports.

Execution of creative initiatives in accordance with brand standards

Creative execution alignment to line of business goals and performance
