Description and FunctionsOpen Until FilledGENERAL DESCRIPTION:Performs both administrative and support work in the operation of a licensing board. Maintains documentation and collection of required materials and fiscal duties.Human Resource Contact: Debbie Russi, 307-###-####, FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function which may be performed at the job level.* Administrative duties, including answering the phone and updating phone systems;opening, sorting, and distributing mail;preparation of mailings; written and oral verifications of licensure; filing; assist Executive Director and Licensing Specialists with general correspondence and proof letters.* Maintain and order office supplies.* Create and implement new forms for use by Council, Board, applicants, licensees, and the public.* Handles administrative duties for Physician Assistant licenses.* Act as an archive specialist for the Board of Medicine office. Prepare and organize all records for archives. Enter archive data into the State online archival system. Retrieve files from archives as requested. Maintain an archive log.* Perform fiscal duties such as entering WOLFS documents for payments and deposits. Receipting all incoming monies. Updating fiscal logs and documentation.QualificationsPREFERENCES:Preference may be given to those with WOLFS and/or knowledge of professional or occupational licensing processes and procedures.Preference may be given to those with an Associate Degree in Business.Preference may be given to those with 2-4 years of progressive work in business office communication.KNOWLEDGE:* Knowledge in applicable computer applications.* Knowledge of records processing and maintenance procedures and systems.* Knowledge in the preparation of complicated documents.* Knowledge and understanding of the agency and each respective division/program.* Knowledge of WOLFS.* Knowledge of professional licensing.* Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education:Associate's Degree (typically in Business)Experience:0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business Office Communications) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Office Support Specialist IOREducation & ExperienceSubstitution:2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business Office Communications) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Office Support Specialist ICertificates, Licenses, Registrations:NoneNecessary Special RequirementsPHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS* Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, driving an automobile, etc.* Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.NOTES:* FLSA: Non-exemptSupplemental Information052-Wyoming Board of MedicineClick here to view the State of Wyoming Classification and Pay Structure.URL: State of Wyoming is an Equal Opportunity Employer and actively supports the ADA and reasonably accommodates qualified applicants with disabilities.Class Specifications are subject to change, please refer to the A & I HRD Website to ensure that you have the most recent version.
