Collaboration Administrator will work with their peers to establish
themselves as the go-to resource for Microsoft O365 collaborative
applications. - They will regularly operate within the space where
technology and business operations converge to help advance overall
enterprise productivity. - The position will be challenged with
balancing enablement requests, migrations, solution development,
platform integrations and vendor interactions. - Being able to
effectively coordinate, prioritize, manage, set expectations, and
communicate will determine the position's success!During a Typical
Day, You'll
- This individual will be considered the technical platform owner
of the Microsoft O365 collaborative toolset - Teams, SharePoint,
OneDrive, etc.
- Gain in-depth technical and business process knowledge to
understand the corporate uses for O365.
- Maintain deep technical knowledge of the platforms and the
ancillary systems that interact with them.
- Work with security and compliance teams to develop and
implement overarching data security plans and policies for
O365.
- Establish and enforce platform governance guidelines.
- Change Management: Lead research of new Microsoft features and
functionality released into the O365 toolset with the goal of
defining how it may be applied within our corporation.
- Consult with key business leaders to assist in defining and
creating structure for new Teams and SharePoint content.
- Migrate key content from legacy systems and/or acquisitions to
the corporate cloud.
- Proactively work with other teams, including internal or
external development resources, and business units to support
existing and new business application needs.
- Maintain documentation and knowledgebase articles to assist
peers with understanding the O365 platforms, policies, and
customized solutions.
- Collaborate with internal training resources to identify
training needs, assist with training ideas, curriculum, etc. to
maximize effectiveness of the applications.
- Drive awareness of current and future initiatives.
- Understand the larger picture and how new concepts may affect
current and future initiatives.
- Implement self-service options and portals where
appropriate.What You Bring to the Role
- 4-year degree in technology, business, or related area of study
and/or 5 years of relevant experience in information
technology.
- 3 years of cloud administration with large/enterprise companies
including at least 1 year of SharePoint Online administration.
- Technically curious and willing/able to quickly learn new
features and functionality in the O365 collaboration toolset.
- Experience with data migrations including use of toolsets like
ShareGate, BitTitan, etc.
- Familiarity with replication, backup, recovery, and disaster
planning within O365.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Server, SQL Server, Power BI,
DNS, PowerShell scripting, IIS, and Windows Authentication.
- Optimistic, proactive, energetic approach to work habits,
management techniques, and communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the
ability to effectively translate technical concepts to
non-technical personnel.
- Ability to respectfully influence others without supervisory
authority when making recommendations.
- Strong understanding of business operations and processes, and
the ability to identify and implement IT solutions that solve
management needs.
- Excellent time management, problem solving, and organizational
skills.
- The ability to multi-task is imperative.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Independent and self-motivated work ethic.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and as an individual
contributor.What You Can ExpectThe anticipated range for
individuals expressing interest in this position is $95,000 -
$107,000. -This position is eligible to participate in an annual
incentive program. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may
vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education
and/or skill levels. Benefits available to eligible employees
