Job Description:
Job Description: The ERP Clerk serves as the functional subject
matter expert for all items related to the management and revision
of parts and Bills of Materials ("BOMs") within the Microsoft D365
ERP system as it pertains to engineering changes. Additionally,
this role provides day-to-day data entry and ERP support to the
Supply Chain team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Updates
the date in the ERP system to appropriately reflect revision or BOM
changes and appropriately control the affected
inventory.Coordinates the timing of revision changes to parts and
BOMs with the Magpul Engineering, Supply Chain, and Inventory
teams.Works directly with management to help identify
inconsistencies in master data within D365.Works with the
functional departments involved in the processing of engineering
changes to identify systematic issues within the ERP system and
advises the Director of Supply Chain of such issues.Updates
department KPI's as required using data provided by suppliers, the
ERP system, and the Magpul Quality groups.Interprets data points
from internal departments and suppliers; updates fields within the
ERP system per Supply Chain team SOPs.Maintains and creates ISO/QMS
documentation as needed.Ability to sit for extended periods of time
working on a computer.Domestic travel up to 5%.Other duties as
assigned. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a business or operations
management field a plus. Minimum two years' experience with data
entry in an engineering, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
required. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to
detail. Must understand and be able to apply inventory control and
reporting practices as it pertains to BOM revisions established
through engineering change management.Excellent communication
skills and positive attitude. Demonstrated advanced knowledge of MS
Excel.Demonstrated knowledge with Tier 2 ERP systems. Experience
with Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365 preferred.Ability to prioritize
multiple projects. Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and
motivation and willingness to work proactively, either
independently or within a team.Ability to sit and/or stand for
extended periods of time.Ability to work at a computer for extended
periods of time.Work overtime as required by workload of
department. Additional: This position reports to the Forecasting &
ERP Manager. Competitive pay rate commensurate to experience.
