SHI ASG Presales Solutions Engineer- Security Cheyenne , Wyoming Apply Now The SecuritySolutions Engineerwill work as a security expert who will be customer facing. The dual role position will help uncover and develop opportunitieswhen meeting with customers and participate in account planning with sales teams. The Solutions Engineer will take a consultative approach to security projectsand will understand how security technology enables business. The Solutions Engineer will also develop and deliver new security services offerings to address customer requests/ opportunities. The Solutions Engineer will report to aSolutions Director or a Regional Solutions Manager. This position is a remote position however may be required to report to the Texas location as required for business needs as determined by SHI management.

Includes but not limited to:
Ability to lead adversarial engagements and assessments including:
Following an industry standard methodology
Reporting findings
Continuously improving penetration testing processes
Learn and understand company Security services offerings and portfolio by self-study, partner training and company sponsored training
Collaborate with multiple layers of contacts within an organization, including but not limited to CIO, CSO, CISO, Security Directors, Security Admin, to strengthen our overall customer relationship and better understand the goals and objectives they are trying to achieve
Educate and develop sales teams on Cyber Security solution selling and key technologies through 1x1 training, team training and company training
Stay current on new technology, trends and market behavior by studying market trend and the industry landscape
Maintain vendor accreditations and certifications relevant to the Security Industry
Self-study and independent work in lab facilities to increase job related knowledge and skills
Obtain technical certifications as needed for specific projects as dictated by management
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical cybersecurity role
Expert technical knowledge of Security Solutions such as: Endpoint (EPP & EDR), Encryption, IAM, PAM, SIEM, MFA, DLP, Automation, Perimeter, Public Cloud
Proficient in: IDS/IPS, Public Cloud,vulnerability assessment tools (open source and COTS)Identity & Access Control, Firewalls, Application Security, Security Frameworks and compliance, Data Loss Prevention, Encryption, Web & Email security,threat modelingand Emerging Security Trends
Required Skills
Ability to design security infrastructure including firewalls, endpoint, email, intrusion prevention/detection, identity, and event logging
General understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, CIS
Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member
Ability to assume a leadership role when needed
Ability to understand complex technical and selling situations and the ability to solve the problem or solicit the required resources
Excellent presentation Skills
Ability to obtain Certifications as needed
Ability to work effectively, add value as a team member and assume a leadership role for the team.
Ability to work effectively within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
Must be results driven with a strong sense of urgency
Attention to detail, organization, and follow up skills are critical
Initiative to research and resolve problems with a positive attitude
Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills.

Exceptional time management
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
3 years' experience in Security Pre-Sales Consulting preferred
Certifications Required
CISSP, Relevant GIAC Cert, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security or Relevant Professional certifications in Cyber Security OEMs
Travel to client locations required up to 20%
Extended hours are required to complete some special projects
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $120,000 - $230,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
