Assemble current employers or new hires for projects. Orders tools, equipment and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules. Confer with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays. Confer with supervisory personnel and labor representatives to resolve complaints and grievances within work force. Confer with supervisory and engineering personnel and inspectors and suppliers of tools and materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods. Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules. Prepare or reviews reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports.In addition to Heavy Civil, must have some experience with the following commercial type of projects:

• Concrete paving
• Curb and gutter
• Demo
• H-piling
• Pipe piling
• Shoring
• Precast erection
• Structural steel and concrete repair
• Earthwork support, etc...Qualifications:
  • 5+ years relevant industry experience
  • Experience managing teams of people
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally
