Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care to the detention adult patient population. Outpatient clinic is open Monday thru Friday from 9 to 9 and there is a small Med/surg inpatient Unit. Expectation is to work 3 shifts/week with alternating weekends.Shifts are 6 AM to 6:30 PM with a 30 minute uncompensated meal break.We have PRN shifts available as well!Responsibilities:- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures- Educate patients and their families on health management- Maintain accurate medical records- Provide compassionate care to patients with diverse needs and conditionsQualifications:- Current LPN license in the state of practice- Experience working in Corrections a plus- Ability to phlebotomize and perform basic laboratory tests- Knowledge of internal medicine, behavioral health, and home/community care settings is advantageousJoin our team of healthcare professionals dedicated to making a difference in patients' lives.
