Job Summary

The Retention Account Manager provides exceptional Customer experience and conducts revenue retention activities within an assigned customer base consisting of GEAR Regional Enterprise customers. The RAM manages approximately 100-150 customers and up to $500K in revenue.Job Description

--- Account planning that includes managing and retention activities for all clients within the assigned account base, including development of account profiles, account strategy and facilitating all required duties and tasks necessary to deliver a positive customer experience

--- Carefully monitor expiring services and contracts and uncover opportunities to generate additional revenue through up-selling

--- Manage contractual obligations to ensure compliance is maintained with terms and conditions specified in contracts/Master Service Agreements

--- Facilitate customer order requests for moves, adds, changes; and initiate orders and ensures that the orders have been completed in a timely and accurate manner to the customers satisfaction.Qualifications

--- Bachelors Degree or relevant years of experience

--- Experience in Sales or Enterprise Customer Service

Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

--- Experience in sales, up-selling, product positioning, and customer service to end user customers, preferably in telecommunications industry

--- Successful experience in account management role supporting a large volume of small Regional Enterprise customers

--- Operational understanding of telecommunications ordering, provisioning, and billing processes

--- Exceptional business acumen, active listening, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
