Job Description:

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Container Coordinator to join our dynamic team, enhancing environmental sustainability through effective container management. This role focuses on the coordination, distribution, and tracking of containers used for hazardous waste while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a knack for logistics and a passion for environmental conservation, supporting our mission to lead in industrial and environmental services. Coordinate the distribution and retrieval of containers across various locations within the region. Track and analyze container inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and timely availability for services. Implement and oversee container cleaning and maintenance protocols to meet safety and quality standards. Collaborate with environmental, health, and safety teams to ensure all container operations comply with governmental regulations and company policies. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective procurement and servicing of containers. Prepare and present regular reports on container status, challenges, and cost efficiency to regional management and corporate headquarters. Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and team interactions Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations pertinent to hazardous materials handling Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) is preferred OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification
